How LedgerPicks makes money
Paid listings, sponsors and affiliate links, and what none of them change.

LedgerPicks is a free, independent directory of AI and automation tools for bookkeepers, accountants and tax professionals in Canada and the US. We make money in the ways below, and we label every one of them where it appears.
1. Paid listings: Verified
A vendor can pay for a one-time Verified review (US$29, or US$19 for the first 10 vendors). We re-check its listing against its own website and add a dated “Verified” stamp. It isn't a rating or an endorsement. Links on a Verified listing carry rel="sponsored". See vendor options.
2. Sponsors: Featured and Homepage slots
A vendor can pay for 30 days in the Featured slot at the top of one category page (US$49) or in the single homepage sponsor box (US$99). These are always labelled “Sponsored”, and their links carry rel="sponsored".
3. Affiliate links
Some vendors pay us a commission if someone signs up after clicking our link. Where we use one, the button says “Visit website (affiliate link)”, a note sits right under it, and the page has a notice at the top. The link carries rel="sponsored nofollow". You don't pay more. What money doesn't change
- Order and rankings. Affiliate status, Verified status and sponsorship never change the editorial order. Directory, category and guide lists are alphabetical. The only exception is a slot clearly labelled “Sponsored”. We don't rate, score or rank tools.
- Who gets listed. Listing is free. Any relevant tool can be listed whether or not it pays us or has an affiliate program.
- Facts. Every fact comes from the vendor's own website, with the source link and the date we checked it. Vendors can't pay to change facts, and corrections are free for everyone.
- We don't publish reviews, star ratings or testimonials, and we don't post coupon codes a vendor hasn't provided.
Sister sites (same owner)
LedgerPicks is run by the same owner as ReplyDesk (done-for-you Google review replies for small businesses) and Friday Digital (Canadian self-employed income, expense and GST/HST tracker, plus free guides). They aren't AI tools for accountants, so they aren't listed in the directory, guides or any comparison. We link to them only in the footer, on our “How we list” page and here. Those links are unpaid.
